Language and Linguistics - Online First

Language and Linguistics now publishes articles Online First ahead of print publication. Online First enables articles to receive earlier citation opportunities and greater visibility. It also benefits all the researchers to access the very latest papers in the field.

Before Online First, the article must finish all the editorial process. If the process is not completed enough in advance, the article will be released on the official print publication date. After Online First publication, the article cannot be edited or modified any further.

Each article published Online First is citable with the date of the article's first online posting and the DOI (Digital Object Identifiers) number. Please refer to the following example: Last Name, First Name. Article Title. Journal Title. Prepublished Month Day, Year, DOI: 10.1177/0123456789123456.
